Dining out - The greatest altitude at which a formal meal has been held is 22,205 ft, at the top of Mt Huascaran, Peru, when nine members of the Ansett Social Climbers, from Sydney, Australia scaled the mountain on 28 Jun 1989 with a dining table, chairs, wine and three course meal.
